I have observed Donna Washington as a storyteller in a performance with children as well as in a workshop setting with other storytellers. I have found her to be a creative, energetic and professional storyteller who has an excellent rapport with her audiences.

Donna is a consummate technician. Her vocal ability in areas of characterization, levels, control, and intensity are excellent. This results in her being highly effective and entertaining as a storyteller and creating and exciting, engaging and rewarding experience for her listeners- regardless of their ages.

The content in Donna Washington's storytelling presentations is also excellent. She is highly creative in the presentation and interpretation of both traditional and contemporary stories- as well as her own original stories. Her experience and knowledge in the art of storytelling is evident in her presentations in storytelling workshop settings.

I would highly recommend Donna Washington as a participant in a storytelling festival, workshop, or showcase. She is a dynamic performer. In my observation her talent and abilities are evident in the enthusiastic responses from her audiences.
